Compact enough to throw in the trunk on the way to the job site, it bores 1" × 24' holes in less than five minutes — powered by a Makita® 40V MAX XGT battery motor — purpose-built for micro-boring and pulling cable or wire under sidewalks, driveways, and landscaping.

Why It's Different: This is the cordless version of the SiBore SB215 micro-bore — a Makita® 40V MAX XGT battery replaces the gas engine, so there are no fuel, no fumes, and quieter operation, ideal for enclosed or emissions-sensitive job sites. It uses the same waterless boring method, so there's no mud and little cleanup, and ships ready to pull cable with eight 36" boring rods, a swivel cable puller, and two boring heads. Pair it with the GeoRipper® handheld trencher for the fastest, safest production.

Best For: Landscapers, irrigation and sprinkler installers, plumbers, and electrical contractors who want a cordless, low-emission tool for boring long, narrow runs and pulling cable or wire beneath hardscapes without open trenching.

Features

Includes a Makita® 40V MAX XGT battery-powered motor

Enclosed, grease-lubricated transmission with spur gear reduction

Bores 1" × 24' in less than five minutes

Waterless boring method — no mud, minimal cleanup

Package includes a weather-resistant, tough nylon accessory case

Comes with (8) 36" boring rods, (1) swivel cable puller, and (2) boring heads

Compact and portable — fits in a trunk

Pairs with the GeoRipper® handheld trencher

Specifications

SiBore SB215e — Battery-Powered Micro Boring Drill

Model

SB215e

Power

Makita® 40V MAX XGT battery-powered motor (included)

Transmission

Enclosed, grease-lubricated, spur gear reduction

Bore Capacity

1" diameter × 24' length

Boring Method

Waterless

Boring Rods

(8) 36" long

Boring Heads

(2)

Cable Puller

(1) swivel

Included Case

Weather-resistant, tough nylon accessory case

Brand

SiBore
