Warranty

Warranty
Warranty basics
Challenger Lifts, Inc. (CLI) warrants its lifts to the original owner only; the coverage is not transferable. CLI will, at its discretion, repair or replace any part that is found on inspection to be defective during the applicable warranty period. Coverage applies only when the lift is installed, operated, and maintained in line with CLI's installation, operation, and maintenance instructions. Using unapproved parts or accessories voids the warranty, as does any repair attempted by someone who is not a CLI authorized service representative. Normal maintenance, adjustments, wear and tear, and damage from improper handling, abuse, misuse, or negligence are not covered. The warranty is valid only if the lift is registered with Challenger Lifts; registration must be completed online (challengerlifts.com/register-your-lift), otherwise the warranty period begins from the invoice date of purchase.
Warranty length
5 years on structural parts, 2 years on functional parts, and 1 year on labor. Structural parts include the carriage, columns, column extensions, overhead beams, arms, cross beams, runways, wheel stops, ramps, bolsters, sync rails, and plungers. Functional parts include power units, cylinders, sheaves, sheave pins, hoses, hydraulic and pneumatic fittings, cables, adapters, latches, valves, and controls.
Remedies and costs
Repair or replacement of defective parts is the exclusive remedy under this warranty. For the covered period, CLI also pays reasonable transportation and/or labor costs to replace those parts. This warranty is exclusive and replaces all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, which is expressly excluded. No employee, agent, dealer, or other party may extend warranties on CLI's behalf. CLI is not liable for special, consequential, or incidental damages arising from any breach or delay in performance of the warranty. The warranty is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jefferson County, Kentucky.

FAQs

What is the lifting capacity of the Challenger AR4115XAX? ▾
The Challenger AR4115XAX has a rated lifting capacity of 15,000 lbs. This allows you to service everything from small passenger cars to medium-duty trucks, vans, and fleet vehicles. The lift is ALI/ETL certified, ensuring it meets rigorous safety and performance standards.
What size bay do I need for this lift? ▾
Challenger recommends a minimum bay size of 14' x 26' for the AR4115XAX. The lift measures 275.5" in overall length and 142" in overall width. You'll also need ceiling clearance of at least 98" for the columns, plus additional height for the vehicle at full rise (78").
What electrical power does the AR4115XAX require? ▾
The standard configuration operates on 208-230V, 60Hz, single phase power with a 2HP motor. An optional 3-phase configuration is available. You'll need a dedicated circuit installed by a licensed electrician. Additionally, 90-120 psi compressed air is required for the lock release system and rolling jacks.
Is professional installation required? ▾
While not strictly required, professional installation is strongly recommended. Proper installation ensures safe operation, optimal performance, and may be necessary to maintain full warranty coverage. Our sales team can help connect you with qualified installers in your area.
What's included in the alignment rack package? ▾
The alignment rack package includes two 7,500 lb rolling jacks with internal air line system, flush mount stainless steel turning radius gauges, 80" rear recessed free floating slip plates, multi-position work-steps, and automatic wheel stops. This provides everything needed for professional four-wheel alignment service.
How is the lift shipped and delivered? ▾
The AR4115XAX ships via freight carrier with free shipping to commercial addresses in the 48 contiguous states. Lead time is typically 5-10 business days. Delivery is curbside, and you'll need a forklift or loading dock to unload. Always inspect shipments for damage before signing.
What vehicles can this lift accommodate? ▾
With a maximum wheelbase of 210.5" and 15,000 lb capacity, the AR4115XAX handles passenger cars, pickup trucks, SUVs, vans, medium-duty trucks, and fleet vehicles. The low 7" runway profile accommodates low-clearance vehicles, while the closed front design works well with standard and long wheelbase vehicles.
What is the difference between open and closed front four post lifts? ▾
The AR4115XAX features a closed front design, meaning the front columns are connected by a crossbeam. This provides additional structural rigidity and a clean appearance. Open front models allow drive-through capability but may have slightly different specifications. Choose based on your shop layout and workflow needs.
What maintenance does the AR4115XAX require? ▾
Regular maintenance includes inspecting cables and pulleys for wear, checking hydraulic fluid levels, lubricating moving parts, testing safety locks, and keeping runways clean. Follow the maintenance schedule in the operation manual to ensure safe, reliable performance and maintain warranty coverage.
Is this lift compatible with modern alignment systems? ▾
Yes, the AR4115XAX is designed to be compatible with the industry's latest imaging alignment systems. The precision turning radius gauges and slip plates provide accurate, repeatable alignment readings for modern computerized alignment equipment.
What makes the 78" rise height important? ▾
The 78" rise height is the highest in the industry for four post lifts of this class. This provides maximum headroom underneath vehicles, allowing technicians to work comfortably in a standing position. Reduced stooping and bending means less fatigue and greater productivity throughout the workday.
