Warranty

Warranty
Warranty basics
Challenger Lifts, Inc. (CLI) warrants its lifts to the original owner only; the coverage is not transferable. CLI will, at its discretion, repair or replace any part that is found on inspection to be defective during the applicable warranty period. Coverage applies only when the lift is installed, operated, and maintained in line with CLI's installation, operation, and maintenance instructions. Using unapproved parts or accessories voids the warranty, as does any repair attempted by someone who is not a CLI authorized service representative. Normal maintenance, adjustments, wear and tear, and damage from improper handling, abuse, misuse, or negligence are not covered. The warranty is valid only if the lift is registered with Challenger Lifts; registration must be completed online (challengerlifts.com/register-your-lift), otherwise the warranty period begins from the invoice date of purchase.
Warranty length
5 years on structural parts, 2 years on functional parts, and 1 year on labor. Structural parts include the carriage, columns, column extensions, overhead beams, arms, cross beams, runways, wheel stops, ramps, bolsters, sync rails, and plungers. Functional parts include power units, cylinders, sheaves, sheave pins, hoses, hydraulic and pneumatic fittings, cables, adapters, latches, valves, and controls.
Remedies and costs
Repair or replacement of defective parts is the exclusive remedy under this warranty. For the covered period, CLI also pays reasonable transportation and/or labor costs to replace those parts. This warranty is exclusive and replaces all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, which is expressly excluded. No employee, agent, dealer, or other party may extend warranties on CLI's behalf. CLI is not liable for special, consequential, or incidental damages arising from any breach or delay in performance of the warranty. The warranty is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Jefferson County, Kentucky.

FAQs

What is the lifting capacity of the CLHM-MR30? ▾
The Challenger CLHM-MR30 has a lifting capacity of 30,000 lb. This capacity is for the complete system of two wheel lift units working together to lift one end of a vehicle. Always ensure the vehicle weight does not exceed the rated capacity.
What ceiling height do I need for the CLHM-MR30? ▾
The CLHM-MR30 requires a minimum ceiling height of 88 3/4" for full extension. The system has an overall height range from 58 3/4" minimum to 88 3/4" maximum, making it ideal for low ceiling shops where traditional lifts cannot be installed.
What air compressor do I need to operate the CLHM-MR30? ▾
The CLHM-MR30 requires a compressed air supply capable of delivering up to 160 PSI maximum pressure. Your compressor should have adequate CFM capacity to maintain consistent pressure during lifting cycles. Consult with your compressor supplier to ensure proper sizing for your shop.
Does the CLHM-MR30 require permanent installation? ▾
No, the CLHM-MR30 is a portable wheel lift system that does not require permanent installation or anchoring. This allows you to move the lifts as needed throughout your shop or use them outdoors, eliminating the need for a dedicated lift bay.
What is the warranty on the Challenger CLHM-MR30? ▾
The CLHM-MR30 is covered by Challenger Lifts warranty. Coverage includes structural components, pneumatic system components, and labor as specified in the warranty documentation. Please review the included warranty PDF for complete terms, conditions, and exclusions.
What wheel sizes does the CLHM-MR30 accommodate? ▾
The CLHM-MR30 accommodates wheels from 16" minimum diameter (with adapters) or 19" minimum (without adapters) up to 44" maximum diameter. This wide range covers most passenger vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment.
How is the CLHM-MR30 shipped? ▾
The CLHM-MR30 ships via freight carrier to commercial addresses in the 48 contiguous United States with free shipping. The shipping weight is 1,500 lb, so a forklift or loading dock is required for unloading. Curbside delivery is standard.
Can I use the CLHM-MR30 for transmission and differential work? ▾
Yes, the CLHM-MR30 is excellent for major component removal including transmission, differential, and drivetrain work. The built-in support stands provide secure positioning while the open design allows complete access to the undercarriage for component removal and installation.
What is the difference between the CLHM-MR20, MR30, and MR40? ▾
The primary difference is lifting capacity: the MR20 lifts 20,000 lb, the MR30 lifts 30,000 lb, and the MR40 lifts 40,000 lb. The MR40 is also slightly larger with 45" width, 44" depth, and 63" to 93" height range. All models share the same 30" stroke and 160 PSI air requirement.
What maintenance does the CLHM-MR30 require? ▾
The 100% air-operated design minimizes maintenance requirements. Regular maintenance includes inspecting air fittings and connections, checking for air leaks, keeping the units clean, and following the maintenance schedule in the owner's manual. The pneumatic system eliminates hydraulic fluid maintenance.
Can I use the CLHM-MR30 outdoors? ▾
Yes, the portable design and air-powered operation make the CLHM-MR30 suitable for outdoor use where compressed air is available. The system does not require permanent installation, making it ideal for outdoor service areas, mobile operations, and temporary setups.
How does the built-in support stand feature work? ▾
The CLHM-MR30 includes integrated vehicle support stands that engage when the vehicle reaches the desired height. These stands securely hold the vehicle in position, allowing you to work safely underneath with complete open access while the pneumatic system is not under constant load.
