The Katool KT-M150D is a two-post vehicle lift rated for 15,000 lb total capacity, built from Q235 and Q245 structural steel for heavy-duty automotive shops, fleet service facilities, and commercial garages. The structural grade selection supports daily lifting of full-size trucks, commercial vans, and larger commercial vehicles.

The lifting mechanism uses direct-drive hydraulic cylinders rather than chain-and-pulley synchronization, reducing wear-prone components and producing quieter cycle operation. Symmetric arm geometry provides balanced load distribution, with a single-point lock release that disengages all safety locks from a centralized control point.

Power is supplied by a 4 HP / 3 kW motor running on 220V / 60 Hz / 1-phase service. Maximum lifting height is 72.83 inches, providing full under-vehicle clearance for transmission, exhaust, suspension, and chassis service. Compatible with trucks, vans, and commercial vehicles within rated per-arm load distribution.

Installation requirement: this lift requires a minimum 5.9" concrete slab rated at 3,000 PSI — thicker than a typical 4" residential garage floor. Confirm your slab depth before ordering, as inadequate concrete is the most common cause of failed two-post installations.

Before you buy: the lift stands 176.8" tall (14 ft 8.8 in) — measure your ceiling height carefully, as this exceeds many standard shop bays. It also needs 220V single-phase service. Our team can help you confirm your ceiling, slab, and electrical setup.

Warranty

Warranty Basics▾

KATOOL / M&E provides a limited warranty covering defects in materials or workmanship. Warranty coverage applies only to the original purchaser and requires proof of purchase, such as an order number, invoice, or sales record. Equipment must be purchased directly from KATOOL or an authorized vendor.

Warranty length

All equipment includes a limited 1-year warranty covering parts and product defects. Vehicle lifts include an additional 3-year warranty on structural components. A 2-year extended warranty may also be available for purchase.

Remedies and costs

Approved warranty claims are limited to replacement of defective parts, with replacement parts and shipping provided at no cost. Labor, installation, removal, repair costs, misuse, improper installation, environmental damage, and operation outside manufacturer guidelines are not covered.

Excellent lift for a shop doing serious heavy vehicle work. The 15,000 lb capacity handles everything we throw at it and the clear-floor overhead design makes underbody access completely unobstructed. Our techs love working on this lift.

The three-year structural warranty combined with the one-year parts warranty is the right coverage split for a lift at this level. Heavy structure gets covered long-term, parts get covered for the first year. Katool stands behind their equipment.

15,000 lbs on a two-post clear-floor design covers our heavy truck and large SUV work without compromise. The overhead design keeps the floor completely clear for transmission jacks and service equipment. We've been running it daily for 6 months and the hydraulics are still as tight as day one.
