Warranty basics
Brave equipment is built and backed by Great Northern Equipment Distributing, Inc. (GNE) in Rogers, Minnesota. Every unit carries a limited factory warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship on the frame, weldments, hydraulic cylinder, pump, valve and other manufactured components. Engines are warranted separately by the engine manufacturer — Honda handles engine coverage directly through its own dealer network. Coverage applies to the original purchaser and requires proof of purchase, so register your unit after delivery to keep service and warranty processing on file. Normal wear items, damage from misuse, accident, improper assembly, neglected maintenance, or use of non-approved parts are not covered.
Warranty length
Brave log splitters carry a 2-year consumer warranty and a 1-year commercial or rental warranty. Engine coverage runs on the manufacturer's own term — Honda GC-series engines are backed for 2 years and GX-series commercial engines for 3 years. Terms vary by product line, so confirm the exact period for your model in its owner's manual.
Remedies and costs
The remedy is repair or replacement of the defective part, at the manufacturer's discretion, through an authorized dealer or service center. Covered parts are supplied at no charge. Freight or transport of the machine to and from a service location, labor outside the covered term, routine maintenance, fluids and wear parts are the owner's responsibility. Warranty claims are submitted through GNE's warranty claim form; product registration speeds up processing.
