Warranty

Warranty Basics
During the warranty period, the manufacturer will repair or replace, at its discretion, the non-wearable part or component that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship under normal use and maintenance. Routine maintenance, cleaning, and replacements of consumable parts (e.g., brushes, pads, squeegees) are not covered under this warranty.
Warranty length
Warranty coverage may vary depending on the product model and category. Selected SANITMAX cleaning machines include up to a 2-year manufacturer warranty, while some manual sweepers and specific models may include a 1-year or 90-day limited warranty as listed on the individual product page.
Remedies and costs
The manufacturer will cover the cost of labor and parts required for the repair or replacement. Any costs associated with transporting the product to and from the manufacturer or authorized service center for warranty service are the responsibility of the manufacturer. Non-wearable replacement parts may be shipped free during the applicable warranty period.

FAQs

Floor Sweeper ▾
Why won't my machine turn on? ▾
Common causes are a low or faulty battery, a defective charger/cable/plug, a blown fuse or tripped breaker, or an engaged emergency-stop (overload) button. To troubleshoot: confirm the outlet works by testing another device; make sure the battery is fully charged, properly connected, and free of corrosion, swelling, or leakage (test with a multimeter); inspect the charger for damage and watch its indicator lights (flashing while charging, green when full); power-cycle by unplugging the charger from both the power source and battery for a few minutes, then reconnect; check for overheating and good ventilation; replace any blown fuses or reset breakers; and make sure the overload protection button is disengaged.
Why are the brushes not spinning? ▾
If the brush height is set too low it can trigger overload protection and stop the motor. Other causes include a faulty brush motor or connection, a broken or loose belt/chain, debris obstructing the brush, or a control-switch error. Adjust the brush height with the knob or lever (clockwise to raise, counterclockwise to lower) in small increments; confirm the motor is receiving power and listen for operation; inspect and replace the belt/chain if needed; clear any debris; and if necessary detach the control panel to inspect the switch plugs inside.
Why is debris pick-up poor? ▾
Poor pick-up is usually caused by worn or damaged brushes, a faulty vacuum motor or connection, a full or improperly sealed hopper, a blocked or disconnected vacuum fan, or a clogged filter. Inspect and replace worn brushes; check the vacuum motor's operation and power supply; empty the hopper and make sure the lid is securely closed; clear any fan blockages and confirm the fan is connected; and clean or replace the filter.
Why is the machine leaving streaks or debris? ▾
This typically points to worn or improperly adjusted brushes, a poorly sealed or damaged hopper seal, or obstructions in the debris path. Inspect and adjust or replace worn brushes, check the hopper seal and replace it if needed, and clear any obstructions from the debris path.
What causes unusual noises? ▾
Unusual noises are often from loose or vibrating components, debris caught in the brushes or drive system, or failing motor bearings. Tighten any loose screws or bolts, clear debris from the brushes and drive system, and inspect the motor, seeking professional repair if needed.
Why won't the battery hold a charge? ▾
A battery that won't hold a charge may be past its usable lifespan, paired with a faulty charger or connection, or worn from frequent deep discharges. Test the battery with a multimeter and replace it if it no longer holds a charge, confirm the charger is working correctly, and avoid deep discharges by following the manufacturer's charging guidelines.
What should I check for water leaks? ▾
Work through the water system component by component: inspect the water tank for cracks and confirm the lid and seal are intact; check all hoses for wear, cracks, or splits and make sure connections are tight; look for leaks around the water pump and inspect the pump housing; verify the check (one-way) valve operates correctly and its seals/O-rings are undamaged; ensure spray nozzles are tight and free of blockages; check the drain valve and drain hose for obstructions; and make sure the machine is on a level surface. Finally, run the machine to pinpoint the leak's source, then re-inspect and repair or replace the relevant part.
Why won't the machine move (ride-on models)? ▾
For ride-on models, check for a faulty drive motor or connection, a broken or loose belt/chain, or incorrect control settings or mode selection. Confirm the motor is receiving power and functioning, inspect and replace the belt/chain if necessary, and verify the control settings and mode selection.
How do I use the automated water spray on the 1050-B? ▾
Please refer to this video walkthrough: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnyrECYanow
Why does the main brush keep stopping? ▾
If the main brush's overload protection pops after a couple of minutes and the brush stops, the brush is likely set too low. To fix it: (1) turn off the power; (2) adjust the main brush height by turning the rubber wood nut, lifting the brush a little higher; (3) turn the power back on; and (4) press the main brush's overload protection button.
Will it work on brick hallways in a barn? ▾
Yes, it works on brick hallways.
Will it work on a gymnastics floor? ▾
No. For a gymnastics floor we recommend using a mop or vacuum instead.
Does it come with a battery charger? ▾
Yes, a battery charger is included in the package and carries a 2-year warranty. A replacement charger costs around $150, though in our experience the original tends to last a long time.
Floor Scrubber ▾
Why won't the machine turn on? ▾
Start with the power supply: confirm the machine is plugged into a working outlet, or that the battery is connected and charged. Inspect battery terminals for corrosion or damage and check voltage with a multimeter. If the battery is in low-voltage self-protection mode or dead, replace it or have a technician reactivate it; if voltage is too high it may also enter self-protection, so run the machine to bring it down to a normal level. Check the power cord and plug for damage, test the outlet, and make sure the on/off switch is on (replace it if loose or unresponsive). Press any overload reset button, check for tripped breakers or blown fuses, inspect internal wiring for loose connections, and review the control panel for error messages.
It isn't picking up water, or there's a smoky smell / loud noise / vacuum overload — what do I do? ▾
Check the recovery tank first: make sure it isn't full, the lid (liquid shut-off valve) is securely closed with an intact seal, and the sponge inside the lid is clean; confirm the drain hose is undamaged with its cap tightened. Inspect the vacuum motor for power and listen for operation — a loud noise means the motor should be replaced. Check the vacuum hose for clogs and secure connections. Examine the squeegee blades for wear and adjust the assembly so it tilts forward 30–40 degrees with about one-third of the rubber strip contacting the floor. Clean or replace clogged filters, verify the solution system is dispensing properly, and check the control panel for error codes and secure wiring. Why doesn't the brush/pad driver spin? ▾
Confirm the machine is plugged in or the battery is charged and the power switch is on, and check for tripped breakers or blown fuses. Listen for the brush motor and ensure its electrical connections are secure and corrosion-free. Look for debris or obstructions on the brush deck and make sure the brush is properly mounted and attached (some require specific alignment or locking). Check the brush for wear, try rotating it manually to see if it moves freely, and review the control panel for any error codes — take a picture of any code and send it to the seller to verify.
Why is it dispensing little or no water? ▾
Make sure the solution tank is filled and its lid and seal are intact to avoid vacuum loss. Check the hoses for clogs and secure, leak-free connections. Verify the solenoid valve is receiving power and operating (listen for it running). Inspect the spray nozzles for clogs and proper alignment. Confirm the water flow control (a valve on the bottom of the machine) is set correctly and the machine is in the right mode. Clean or replace clogged filters in the water line, and ensure the liquid shut-off valve on the sewage tank is closed tightly, since an open one can prevent water from dispensing. Finally, check the control panel for error codes and secure wiring.
Why can't the machine move forward or backward (self-propelled / ride-on)? ▾
Ensure the battery is fully charged with secure, corrosion-free connections, and confirm the drive motor is receiving power and running. Note that the squeegee must be lifted before the machine can move backward. Check that speed-control settings aren't set too low and the machine is in the correct mode. Inspect the wheels and axles for obstructions or wear. On ride-on models, make sure safety switches are engaged (the seat switch under the seat and the parking brake near the rear wheel) — the machine won't move if these aren't activated. Lastly, review the control panel for error codes and secure wiring.
Why is the machine leaving streaks? ▾
Streaking is usually caused by worn or dirty brushes/pads, the wrong detergent type or concentration, worn or misadjusted squeegee blades, or an overfilled/dirty recovery tank. Clean or replace brushes and pads, use the correct detergent type and concentration, inspect and adjust or replace the squeegee blades, and empty and clean the recovery tank regularly.
What causes unusual noises? ▾
Unusual noises generally come from loose or vibrating components, debris caught in the brushes or drive system, or failing motor bearings. Tighten any loose screws or bolts, clear debris from the brushes and drive system, and inspect the motor, seeking professional repair if needed. For ongoing issues, perform regular maintenance (cleaning filters, checking hoses, inspecting brushes and squeegees), refer to the user manual, and contact a professional service technician if the problem persists.
