Warranty
Warranty Basics▾
Your warranty coverage begins on the date the authorized dealer purchases the unit. To qualify, the equipment must be operated under normal conditions and maintained according to the official manual.
How to get service: End-users should always contact the original dealer first for any service needs. If you're unsatisfied with the dealer's response, you can reach us directly.
What's not covered:
- Normal wear and tear
- Abuse, neglect, or overloading
- Unapproved modifications
- Failure to follow GNT's maintenance schedule
- Use of unauthorized parts
- Freight damage (handled separately — see Shipping)
- Customer-preference adjustments (software updates, performance tweaks)
- Units with defaced or missing serial numbers
Warranty periods vary by equipment class and component. Below is the full breakdown:
Class I — Fully Powered Electric Motor Rider Equipment
- 30 days: Wearable items (tires, bulbs, rubber parts)
- 6 months: Labor fees (pre-approval by GNT required)
- 1 year: Forks, platforms, handles, transmission/gearbox shaft, weldments, traction motor, SBW motor & decoders, wheel controller, lift motor, hydraulic pump, SBW sensor, built-in and external chargers; lithium and flooded batteries (against defects)
- 3 years: Frame, forks, mast

GNT's sole remedy under warranty is the repair or replacement of defective parts. Incidental or consequential damages are not covered.
Labor coverage: Labor fees are covered for 6 months on Class I and Class II equipment, but all labor reimbursement requires pre-approval from GNT before work begins. Labor performed without prior approval will not be reimbursed.
Inspection requirements: Certain parts — including electrical controls and drive wheel assemblies — must be returned to GNT for inspection before replacements ship. These parts must not be opened or altered without prior approval, or the claim may be voided.
