The Vestil LM-1T Standard Telescoping Lift Boom transforms your standard forklift into a versatile lifting attachment with adjustable reach — letting operators extend or retract the boom length to match the load distance for each lift. Why Forklift Lift Booms Matter: A standard forklift can only lift loads that sit flat on the forks — pallets, crates, palletized stock. Once you need to move an engine, transmission, transformer, AC unit, machinery component, irregular load, or anything that needs hook-and-chain rigging, a forklift alone isn't enough. Choose Your Configuration — Two Critical Decisions:

• Capacity (3,000 / 4,000 / 6,000 / 8,000 lb): Match to your forklift's de-rated capacity at the load center — NOT to your forklift's nameplate rating. Adding any boom dramatically shifts the load center forward, reducing the forklift's effective capacity. Note: the 3,000 lb option is exclusive to the telescoping series (LM-1T-3-24), available for buyers needing lighter-duty lifting with reach flexibility.
• Fork Pocket Center (11" / 24" / 30" / 36"): The distance between the center of your forklift's two forks. This MUST match your forklift's actual fork spread. Mismatched fork pocket center = the boom won't fit or will be unsafe. Measure your forklift's fork spread (center of one fork to center of the other) before ordering.
