5" Poly-on-Poly Casters — Soft Roll, Floor-Safe: The VHPS-NM rolls on 5" poly-on-poly casters — softer than the poly-on-steel casters used on standard L-Series tote lifters. Poly-on-poly construction delivers better floor protection (no metal-on-floor contact even under load), quieter operation (less rolling noise than poly-on-steel), smoother roll on industrial flooring, and resistance to chemicals and oils common in industrial environments. The trade-off vs poly-on-steel is slightly higher rolling resistance under load — but for a 600-800 lb capacity positioner, this is not a meaningful concern.

Foot Brake for Secured Positioning: The VHPS-NM includes a foot brake for securing the unit during stationary use.
