Warranty

Warranty ▾
Warranty basics
Newstripe provides a 24-month limited warranty to the original purchaser, covering defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover damage or malfunction caused by misuse, neglect, accident, improper operation, or normal wear and tear.

Component-specific coverage: Gasoline engines, compressors, low-pressure pumps, and transaxles are covered only under their respective manufacturers' warranties, not by Newstripe. High-pressure pumps manufactured by Newstripe carry a 12-month warranty for materials and workmanship, excluding wear items such as diaphragms and valves. Repairs or modifications performed by third parties without written authorization from Newstripe void the warranty.
Warranty length
24 months on equipment from date of original purchase.
12 months on Newstripe-manufactured high-pressure pumps (excludes wear items such as diaphragms and valves).
Gasoline engines, compressors, low-pressure pumps, and transaxles are covered under their respective component manufacturer's warranty terms.
Remedies and costs
Newstripe's obligation under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective parts of its manufacture, free of charge, within 24 months of original purchase. To request service, the purchaser must obtain a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) from Newstripe and ship the defective part(s) to Newstripe with transportation prepaid by the purchaser, along with a written description of the claimed defect and proof of purchase date. Liability is limited to repair, replacement, and associated labor. Newstripe is not liable for incidental or consequential damages under any circumstance.

Replaced an old Wagner

Had a Wagner striper for 8 years that finally needed retirement. The 4250 has been the right replacement for me - similar capacity to my old Wagner but with a more modern hose and gun setup. The Honda engine is a meaningful upgrade over the Briggs that was on my old machine.

Stepped down from a 4400

Used to own a 4400 but my striping business shifted from large lots to mostly residential and small commercial work. Sold the 4400 and bought a 4250 because my needs changed. Smaller, lighter, easier to load on the trailer. Plenty of power for the work I do now.

Bought this to start a small striping business out of my home in rural Oklahoma. Most of my work is small parking lots - churches, dentists offices, small retail. The 4250 has been perfect for this scale. Fits in my pickup with room for stencils and paint, sets up quickly, sprays clean, packs up in under 20 minutes at end of day. Have been running it for 14 months and it has been reliable through summer heat and winter starts.

Right size for a small operation

Property manager for a small office complex. We do our own annual re-stripe to keep costs down. The 4250 is the right size for our volume - lots take us a day each and the machine is compact enough to store easily. Honda engine has been reliable through year one.

Apartment complex tool

Maintenance lead for a 200 unit apartment complex. Annual parking lot re-stripe used to cost us $3500. The 4250 paid for itself in about 14 months counting just the labor I save vs hiring it out. Easy enough for me to operate solo. Lines come out clean if you take your time with the speed.

Sprays fine but draw issues on cold paint

Machine is mechanically solid, no issues with the Honda engine or the pump or the gun. Three stars because the paint draw is iffy when the paint is cold (50F and below). I work mornings in spring and fall in our area and the machine struggles to maintain proper draw until the paint warms up. I have to either pre-warm my buckets indoors overnight or do priming cycles before I can start the actual work. The 4400 a buddy of mine owns does not have this issue as bad, which makes me think the 4250 pump is on the edge of capability for cooler conditions. Not a deal breaker but a real annoyance during shoulder season.

First airless machine

Bought the 4250 to upgrade from a roller machine when my business grew enough to justify it. The step up to airless changed everything - speed, line quality, the ability to take on bigger jobs. The 4250 was the right size for my growing operation. Will probably upgrade to a 4400 or 4600 in another year or two but the 4250 has been a great middle step.

That was honestly the first thing our crew noticed.

The edges look sharper, the paint coverage stays more even, and the machine tracks straighter during long striping passes. Customers probably don’t know why the lots look better now, but they definitely notice the difference.

We stripe athletic courts and parking facilities and the Newstripe 4250 handles both applications cleanly. The airless system is more efficient than air-assisted alternatives and the line quality is consistently sharp. Solid machine for professional striping work.

the 4250 puts down clean lines all day without fuss. we do a lot of parking garage work where precision matters and this machine delivers consistently. solid build, easy to operate, good results

We switched to the 4250 from an older pneumatic unit and the improvement in line quality was immediately noticeable. Cleaner edges, more consistent width, and less paint waste. The airless system is the right technology for professional striping.

I run a small pavement maintenance business and this machine honestly helped our jobs start looking more professional almost immediately.

The spray pattern feels much more controlled than the cheaper stripers we used before, especially during longer runs across parking lots.

Newstripe builds equipment for people who do this work for a living. The 4250 reflects that it's durable, easy to operate consistently, and produces the line quality our clients expect. We've been running it for a full striping season without issues.

M

The 4250 is built for real production striping work. We run it on large commercial parking lots and it keeps pace with our crew's workflow without mechanical issues. Line quality is consistent across full jobs.

M
Melissa D.

I was a little worried about learning curve because our previous striping setup was very basic.

Turns out the 4250 was pretty straightforward to get comfortable with. After the first couple jobs, the crew was already moving confidently with it.

That simplicity matters a lot during busy work weeks.

We've run this machine on everything from small retail lots to large industrial facilities. Consistent performance across all of it. The airless application system is the right choice for anyone doing serious striping volume

Good machine for commercial parking lot striping. The airless system handles our paint efficiently and the line quality is professional. It handles the pace of production striping work without slowing us down.

S
Staci F.

The 4250 airless system puts down clean consistent lines without the overspray mess we had with spray systems. We use it for parking lot striping contracts and the output quality is professional every time. The airless application gives crisp edges that our customers notice.

We didn’t need a massive striping rig, but we also outgrew the lightweight homeowner-style machines pretty quickly.

The 4250 landed right in the middle where it still feels easy to transport and maneuver while producing genuinely professional-looking results.

That balance ended up being exactly what we needed.

G

Excellent striping machine for anyone doing this work professionally. The airless application system produces clean lines and the machine handles a full day of striping without complaint. We've put real hours on this and it keeps performing

We’ve been running this machine pretty heavily for several months now across commercial properties and industrial facilities.

It’s held up very well bouncing around in trailers and job sites, and the finished striping still looks consistently sharp. Honestly one of the better equipment purchases we’ve made for the business recently.

C
Cody G.

We bought the 4250 mainly for parking lot maintenance and warehouse marking work, and it’s been a solid machine so far.

The biggest improvement compared to our old setup is consistency. The lines come out cleaner, the spray stays even, and we spend a lot less time fixing edges afterward.

For regular commercial striping work, it’s been a great fit.

A lot of stripers online look similar in photos, but once you actually use them, the differences become obvious.

This machine feels heavier-duty and much more stable during operation compared to the smaller units we previously owned. The frame feels solid and the spray consistency has been excellent.
