Hands down one of the better purchases we have made for the bay. The four-jaw turntable centers wheels quickly and clamps securely. The carburized steel jaws hold the rim firmly without marring the finish. After hundreds of tires the only upkeep has been routine lubrication.

Happy with it overall, with one or two nitpicks. The carburized steel jaws hold the rim firmly without marring the finish. Instructions could be clearer, though assembly was manageable.

Happy with it overall, with one or two nitpicks. The mount-demount head clears the rim cleanly without scratching. The bead breaker has plenty of force for stubborn sidewalls. Instructions could be clearer, though assembly was manageable.

Solid tire changer with a couple of small caveats. The bead breaker has plenty of force for stubborn sidewalls. The plastic protectors wear a little quicker than I would like, but they are cheap to replace.

Solid machine, manual is junk

Tire changer itself is great. Bead breaker has the power I need, the duckhead protects the rims, motor has not bogged down on a single tire yet. My one complaint is the manual that came with it is poorly translated and the parts diagram is too small to actually use for service reference. Had to call the dealer twice for clarification. Once you figure the machine out you dont need the manual much but the documentation could be a lot better. Otherwise this is great value for a small shop.

Replaced my old Coats

20 year old Coats finally cracked the tower casting last spring. Looked everywhere for a replacement and the prices on new Coats and Hunter machines are insane. Settled on the KT-T800 after reading every review I could find. Six months in and it has been a workhorse. We do about 25-30 tires a week through it. No regrets at all.

Daily driver for our shop!!

Our 3 bay shop in Tucson runs through this machine probably 15-20 times a day during summer tire season!! Has held up great so far. Bead breaker is strong, the rotation is smooth, no rim damage. Highly recommend!!

Happy with it overall, with one or two nitpicks. It handles everything from passenger tires up to light truck rims without complaint. The plastic protectors wear a little quicker than I would like, but they are cheap to replace.

Been in the tire business for 28 years, worked on machines from Coats, Hunter, Hofmann, Corghi, you name it. The KT-T800 surprised me. Build quality is better than I expected for a Chinese machine. The clamp jaws hold tight, the tower doesnt flex when you torque on a stubborn bead, motor has plenty of guts. I would not call it Hunter equivalent but it is absolutely shop-grade equipment at a fraction of the cost. Have done about 60 tires through it in the first month including some 22 inch low profiles. No complaints.

Foot pedals are great

Came from an older machine where the foot pedals were sloppy and you never knew exactly when the bead breaker was going to fire. The pedals on the KT-T800 are crisp, predictable, and consistent. Cuts a lot of trial-and-error out of high-volume days. Solid purchase for a small shop.

Happy with it overall, with one or two nitpicks. It handles everything from passenger tires up to light truck rims without complaint. Larger low-profile tires need a bit of patience, but it gets there.

Mobile tire service starting up

Just started a mobile tire service in Phoenix and needed a shop-side machine for jobs that come into my home base. This is exactly the right size and capability. Heavy enough that it stays put when I am breaking beads, but not so massive it eats up the whole bay. Already paid for itself in 5 months.

Arnold answered every question I had

Wanted to give credit where its due. Called Blue Collar Planet before I bought and ended up on the phone with Arnold for almost half an hour talking through tire changer options. He didnt try to upsell me to the bigger machine, was honest about which model fit my volume and budget. Ordered it that afternoon, freight here in about a week, no damage. Three weeks in and zero issues with the machine itself. Glad I called instead of just clicking buy.

Real shop-grade machine

I run a 2 bay independent tire shop in central Ohio. Was running an old Coats 5060 that finally gave up after 14 years of abuse. Looked at a Coats replacement and almost fell out of my chair at the price. The KT-T800 was less than half the cost and so far the machine itself feels just as solid. Done about 200 tires through it in the first 6 weeks. Bead breaker handles 19s and 20s without fuss, the duckhead has not scratched a single rim yet, and the foot pedals are responsive. Cant ask for much more at this price point.

Works fine, but the air pressure is fussy

Look, the machine works, it does what its supposed to do, it changes tires. So why the 3 stars. Because the air pressure tolerance on this thing is tighter than what was advertised to me. Manual says 116-145 PSI which sounds fine but if you are running closer to 116 the bead breaker drags on heavier truck tires. Had to upgrade my shop air compressor to a bigger one to get consistent performance, which was another $800 I didnt budget. Once you have the air right its a solid machine but I wish the bead breaker had more power so the air pressure wasnt as critical.

Run flat handling is solid

Run a small performance shop, lots of BMW and Mercedes work which means run flats every week. The KT-T800 has handled every run flat I have thrown at it. Bead breaker has the power, the duckhead clears the sidewall without nicking the rim. Cannot ask for better at this price.

Heavy enough to be stable

410 lbs and it shows. The machine does not walk around the shop floor when you are working a tough bead. I have used cheaper machines that need to be bolted to the floor or they shift on you, this one stays where you put it. Quality piece of equipment.

Bought to do my own tires

I have 4 cars in the family fleet and a 1972 Chevelle restoration in the garage. Was tired of paying $30-40 per tire at the shop just to swap. Did the math and this machine pays for itself in about 3 years just on family use, less if I do friends and family. Setup was straightforward, only thing I needed was a bigger air compressor than I had. Works on everything from 15s on the wife's Honda to 20s on the truck.

One year of ownership in a small alignment and brake shop. We do maybe 15 tire swaps a week as part of wheel service jobs. The machine has been completely trouble-free. Hydraulic cylinder is tight, motor is strong, pedals are responsive. No maintenance beyond routine lubrication.

My previous machine was a no-name import that I bought on auction. The difference in build quality compared to the KT-T800 is significant. Welds are clean, the frame is rigid, and nothing flexes or rattles during operation. This feels like real shop equipment.
