Triumph NTB-1200 Electronic Truck Wheel Balancer — 10–28", 350 lb Capacity
The Triumph NTB-1200 is a true heavy-duty electronic wheel balancer built to handle large truck wheels and small passenger wheels on the same machine. The 42 mm shaft and 350 lb wheel capacity are sized for medium-duty truck rims, while the 10"–28" rim range, 51" max tire diameter, and 1.5"–20" rim-width range cover everything from light passenger wheels up to commercial truck rubber. Comes standard with auto distance and wheel-diameter measuring, a protective wheel hood, and a switchable standard / metric display. Balances a wheel in 8 seconds with ±1 gram accuracy.
Why It's Different: Most passenger-only balancers cap out around 175 lb wheel weight and a 36 mm shaft. The NTB-1200's 42 mm shaft, 350 lb wheel capacity, and 28" rim ceiling step it into truck territory while still keeping the precision (±1 gram) and cycle time (8 sec) you'd expect on a quality passenger machine. The auto distance and diameter sensors cut data entry to just the rim width on most jobs.
Best For: Tire shops, fleet maintenance, truck dealerships, performance shops, and serious home garages servicing both passenger and medium-duty truck wheels on one machine.
⚠️ Bolt the balancer to a level floor before operation. Heavy and high-speed-spinning wheels require a rigid mount for accurate readings and safe operation — install per the manufacturer's instructions.
⚠️ Always lower the protective wheel hood before spinning the wheel. The hood is a safety guard — it protects the operator from a thrown weight, loose hub adaptor, or detached wheel during the spin cycle.
⚠️ Auto data entry is not full automatic — the machine auto-measures distance and wheel diameter, but rim width is manually entered for each job.
⚠️ Stay within rated capacity: 350 lb wheel weight, 28" max rim diameter, 51" max tire diameter, 1.5"–20" rim width.
⚠️ Tire equipment ships LTL with liftgate service included (unlike auto lifts) — the driver will lower the unit to the ground at the back of the truck, but will not move it inside the shop or assemble it. You're responsible for moving and installing the machine.
