The Triumph NTC-950 is the entry point into Triumph's commercial tire-changer line — and the smart way to start a tire-service operation without over-buying upfront. It's a stand-alone wheel-clamp machine with a 28" clamping range, a powerful 5,500 lb bead breaker, and Triumph's bead-blast system for seating and inflating stubborn beads — everything you need to service everyday passenger and light-truck tires. The key advantage: as your business grows, you can add one or even two helper arms to the machine. Save money now, expand later.

Why It's Different: The NTC-950 is engineered to grow with your shop. It ships as a no-helper-arm base machine at the lowest price in the line, but the platform is the same chassis that supports the single-arm NTC-950-1 and dual-arm NTC-950-2 — so you can upgrade in place when the work demands it instead of replacing the whole changer. Same 5,500 lb bead breaker, same bead-blast, same 28" clamping range as the higher-priced 950 variants.

Best For: Commercial shops starting up a tire-service operation, used-car lots, growing automotive businesses, and budget-conscious shops servicing cars and light trucks. If your shop already runs a lot of run-flats or low-profile tires, the NTC-950-1 (single arm) or NTC-950-2 (dual arm) are better matched out of the gate.

It's built on the same chassis as the single-arm NTC-950-1 and dual-arm NTC-950-2, so a shop can add one or two helper arms as its run-flat and low-profile work grows, instead of replacing the whole machine. A new tire operation pays only for what it needs now.

The bead breaker delivers 5,500 lbs of force to separate stubborn beads, and the built-in bead-blast system seats and inflates tires that won't seal on their own. These are the same bead breaker and bead blast used on the higher-priced 950 models, so the base machine gives up nothing on the two steps where tire jobs most often stall.

The wheel clamp handles rims up to 28", covering passenger cars and light trucks. A 1.5 HP motor runs on standard 110V, so most garages won't need electrical work. Metal and plastic demount heads, plastic clamp covers, a tire iron, and a lube bucket and brush come included, so the machine is ready for its first tire out of the crate.

If an issue occurs, customers can contact support for troubleshooting assistance over the phone. Once the issue is diagnosed, the required replacement part will be shipped free of charge.

Replacement warranty parts include free ground shipping service. Expedited shipping services are not included unless otherwise specified.

Labor costs

Warranty coverage does not include labor costs for installation of replacement parts. Customers may perform the repair themselves or hire a technician or mechanic if preferred.

Exclusions

Rubber lifting pads are considered wear items and are not covered under warranty.

Cylinder warranty

The hydraulic cylinders include a 30-day full warranty. After the initial 30-day period, a seal kit is provided for cylinder-related service needs.
