Warranty

Warranty Basics▾
BE Power Equipment Inc. warrants products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under regular operational use for the original retail purchaser. Valid proof of purchase is required for all claims. The warranty does not cover normal wear items like O-rings, filters, and spark plugs, nor does it cover damage from misuse or lack of maintenance.
Warranty length
Standard warranty for engines such as Powerease, Kohler, and Vanguard is 3 years, which can be extended to 5 years if the product is registered within 90 days of purchase. Generators, water pumps, and air compressors also feature a 3-year standard and 5-year registered warranty. Accessories are covered for a period of 1 year. Honda GX engine warranties must be processed through Honda authorized service centers.
Remedies and costs
BE Power Equipment will, at its sole discretion, repair, replace, or credit the product. The buyer is responsible for all transportation costs, and the company disclaims liability for incidental damages such as rental loss or time loss.

The 4-inch port size creates standard connection compatibility with hose infrastructure that's available at any construction supply. No proprietary fittings, no adapter hunting. The Honda GX390 runs on 86 octane with up to 10 percent ethanol which is available at any fuel station on the way to a job.

Ronnie M.

The reinforced trash pump design is built to handle the actual field conditions that make standard transfer pumps fail. Grit, rocks, and fibrous material that would jam a standard pump go through the 4-inch ports cleanly.

B
Blaine H.

The 4-inch port size passes rock and debris-laden water that would clog any standard transfer pump. We use this for construction site dewatering where the runoff carries significant solid load and it handles the debris mix without operator intervention. Honda GX390 with low-oil shutdown runs reliably on remote deployments where someone isn't watching it every minute.

8.5 GPM is the specification that makes this truck-mount unit categorically different from portable pressure washers. At that flow rate the cleaning pace on large commercial surfaces increases dramatically because more water is contacting the surface per unit of time.

The powder-coated steel plate mounting base with anti-vibration pads is engineered specifically for truck or trailer installation. Anti-vibration pads are a genuine engineering consideration for a unit bolted to a moving vehicle. Without vibration isolation the repeated stress of road travel fatigues mounting hardware and component connections. This design accounts for that correctly.

B
Bradley T.

Truck-mount configuration means this unit is permanently installed and always ready. No loading, no unloading, no setup time at job sites. Drive to the property, connect the water supply and hose reel, start the Honda GX690 electric start, and begin cleaning. For a mobile pressure washing business doing multiple jobs per day that operational simplicity translates directly to additional jobs completed.

K
Krista G.

For a truck-mount unit running for hours across a full commercial day the V-twin durability advantage over single-cylinder alternatives is substantial. Electric start makes restarting between jobs simple.

L

The belt-driven CP triplex pump specification means the pump runs at lower RPM than the engine, which reduces pump heat, vibration, and wear rate. For a unit designed for all-day commercial operation the belt drive's pump longevity advantage over direct drive is the right engineering choice at this output level. The external unloader with dump-to-ground bypass manages pump cooling correctly during trigger-off periods.

J
Jillian N.

4,200 PSI at 8.5 GPM from a truck-mounted system with Honda GX690 power is the specification set for professional contractors doing fleet washing, building exterior cleaning, and industrial surface prep. The combination of pressure and volume at this level is not available from portable units within practical weight limits. Truck mounting is the configuration that makes this output level operationally practical.

The 3-year machine warranty backed by BE Power with Honda's separate engine warranty coverage for the GX690 provides comprehensive manufacturer backing on a significant commercial equipment investment. For a truck-mount unit that forms the core of a mobile washing business the warranty coverage over a typical business-use service period matters.

B
Bethany C.

I run a mobile pressure washing business with this unit mounted on a cargo van. The anti-vibration pad mounting system has eliminated the fastener loosening issues I had with a previous unit that did not have proper vibration isolation. The electric start Honda GX690 starts in all weather conditions without the pull-start frustration of a heavy single-cylinder engine.

M
Maxwell R.

The external unloader with dump-to-ground bypass is specified correctly for a high-flow unit where heat management during trigger-off periods is critical. At 8.5 GPM the pump is moving significant water volume and the heat generated during bypass without the dump-to-ground feature would build rapidly. This specification is not a marketing note but an engineering necessity at this flow rate.

K
Kaylee D.

The large capacity fuel tank on the Honda GX690 provides runtime appropriate for commercial truck-mount deployment where stopping for fuel mid-job is not acceptable. Combined with the automatic low-oil shutdown the engine manages itself through commercial work days with less operator attention than smaller units.

J
Joel A.

The factory functional testing with possible residual oil or fuel odor upon delivery confirms this unit was tested before shipping. That testing protocol identifies issues before the unit reaches the customer rather than at first startup on a job site. A truck-mount unit that arrives tested and ready reduces the installation risk compared to units shipped without functional verification.

this trash pump handles the gnarly stuff. we do post storm construction site work and the debris load is real. 4 inch ports and cast iron impeller handle it without hesitation. honda runs all day. roll cage takes the hits. solid equipment

C
Caroline W.

Powder-coated steel plate construction on the mounting base resists the corrosion exposure that a truck-mounted unit sees from road salt, moisture, and weather cycling. The anti-vibration pads protect both the mounting surface and the unit's internal component connections from road vibration fatigue. This is the correctly specified mounting system for permanent vehicle installation.

C
Clayton P.

The volume advantage over lower-GPM units is the specification that justifies the investment for operations where vehicle throughput determines revenue. Honda GX690 runs our full fleet washing days without performance degradation.

A
Allison K.

The CP triplex pump belt-drive system allows the pump to run at optimal efficiency speed independently of the engine speed. This is the engineering reason belt-drive pumps last longer than direct-drive at equivalent output levels. For a commercial truck-mount unit expected to run for years the pump longevity difference between belt and direct drive justifies the design choice.

I
Isaac F.

I specifically needed a truck-mount configuration to support a commercial pressure washing operation covering industrial facilities. The B4224HETBAS mounting plate bolted through standard truck bed tie-down points with the included anti-vibration pad hardware. Setup was straightforward and the unit has been running without issues across six months of daily commercial deployment.

Rental shop here. We send this pump on construction site dewatering rentals where operators aren't always experienced and conditions are always rough. The Honda low-oil shutdown protects the engine from neglect and the cast iron pump handles the material that inexperienced operators run through it. The roll cage survives the handling it gets at rental return.

C
Chelsea T.

The reinforced trash pump design means this unit handles water with dirt, grit, and rocks, not just clean water. For construction site dewatering where runoff carries significant debris load, a standard transfer pump clogs. Honda GX390 with low-oil shutdown runs reliably even in remote deployment locations.

G
Garrett K.

The 4-inch port size is the specification that sets this trash pump apart for high-volume applications. Larger ports mean higher flow capacity and the ability to pass solid debris including rocks without clogging. The Honda GX390 commercial engine provides the sustained power that high-flow pumping demands across full work days in construction and flood control applications.

Felicia P.

T

We responded to a basement flood with significant silt in the water. The 4-inch trash pump moved the water and silt load efficiently and the Honda kept running through the full job. The ergonomic hand holds on the roll cage made positioning in the confined basement access manageable for our two-person team.
