Coverage does not extend to abnormal use — including misuse, abuse, accidental damage, modification, neglect, missed maintenance, towing the unit behind a vehicle, over-the-road transport, rolling the unit off large drops, use in corrosive environments, fitting non-Extreme Tools® parts, overloading, or using the box for anything other than tool storage. Also excluded: damage from fire, flood, earthquake, tornado, windstorm, lightning, hail, vandalism or other insurable losses; repairs or alterations carried out by anyone other than Extreme Tools® or its approved partners; accessories or attachments not supplied by the company; and failure to follow the operating procedures in the product manual or to provide a suitable operating environment.
A note on specific models: the PWS4105 41″ Deluxe Extreme Portable Workstation® is not weatherproof and is not built to serve as a road box, so outdoor or on-road use is not covered. Road boxes in the TX Series are built for on-road use only — off-road transport can damage the product, is not treated as a defect, and voids the warranty.

EX Standard Series — Limited 5-Year Warranty.

Electrical components — 90-Day Limited Warranty on any electrical component in or on an Extreme Tools® tool box or accessory.
Where a claim is approved, Extreme Tools® will replace the defective part at no cost to you. Whether a part is repaired or replaced is decided by Extreme Tools®, and that repair or replacement is the buyer's sole and exclusive remedy. Do not ship the product back to the store, the distributor, or to Extreme Tools® unless you have received written return instructions and a return goods authorization (RGA) number; a copy of the original purchase receipt must accompany any return.
Extreme Tools® is not liable for loss of the product or for consequential damages of any kind, and no other party is authorized to extend additional liabilities on the company's behalf. Some states do not permit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so these limits may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have further rights that differ from state to state.
