Warranty basics
The EZ Warranty covers the original end-user purchaser against manufacturing defects in material and workmanship. Claims are handled without returning the broken tool — a photo of the damage is enough for most cases. Submit through the Warranty Replacement Form.
Coverage applies only to items bought from an authorized seller in the U.S. (the program serves U.S. and Canadian users). Proof of purchase may be requested, particularly for online orders. Excluded: normal wear and tear, misuse, accident or negligence, shipping damage, unauthorized repair or modification, and improper installation, use, or storage. Consumables carry no warranty at all — accessory bits, bit sockets, cutting tools, taps and dies, and carrying cases (blow molded, injection molded, pouches). Distributors with a replacement concern should go through Customer Service instead.

Warranty length
Coverage runs from the date of purchase (date of delivery for California customers) for the period below:

• Torque products — 1 year

• Plastic, metal, and soft-sided tool boxes and bags — 1 year
• Diagnostics — 2 years
• Tool storage — 3 years
• Tool carts — 5 years
Separately, calibration accuracy on torque products is guaranteed for 90 days from receipt. These are precision instruments with moving parts, so routine calibration checks and any wear-related service afterward fall to the owner. To make a calibration claim, call 877-626-3433 with the product, place of purchase, and purchase date and receipt on hand. Help with recalibration is also available past the 90-day window.

Remedies and costs
Repair or replacement is the sole remedy, chosen at GEARWRENCH's discretion. On replacements, GEARWRENCH covers the shipping and the replacement product is free. On repairs, GEARWRENCH pays the Authorized Repair Center for the work; the customer pays to ship the item in, and the repair center covers return shipping.
