Lincoln Electric provides a limited warranty to the original end user of new welding and cutting equipment, electrodes and flux, covering defects in workmanship and materials. The warranty is voided if the equipment is installed incorrectly, maintained improperly, or run outside normal operating conditions.

Not covered by this warranty:

• Expendable and consumable parts replaced due to normal wear
• Engines and engine accessories, Air Vantage compressors, and battery components — each warranted by its own manufacturer
• MK Products (1-800-787-9707), Burny Kaliburn, and Vernon Tool items, which are handled directly by those brands
• Cable and extraction-arm wear from flexing or abrasion; routine inspection, filter replacement, and maintenance are the owner's responsibility
• Equipment built for Lincoln Electric by another manufacturer, which follows that manufacturer's warranty period

Coverage begins on the date of purchase from a Lincoln Authorized Distributor or Authorized Service Facility. Without proof of purchase, the date of manufacture is used instead.

• 7 years — Main power rectifiers on Idealarc non-inverter welders
• 5 years — Power Wave, Power Feed, Auto Drive, MAXsa, Pipefab and Flextec machines; Apex controllers; Viking auto-darkening helmets (1740, 1840, 2450, 3250D FGS, 3350 and FLZ series); the digital user interface on Frontier models; Flex Feed 25L; gray Flexcut machines
• 3 years — All Lincoln welding machines, wire feeders and plasma cutters; VRTEX 360 and VRTEX Mobile; weld fume control equipment and welding booths; cross slide mechanical assemblies, motorized slide controls and seam tracker controls; Velion EV charging station tower and pedestal; red Flexcut machines
• 2 years — Viking auto-darkening lenses; 4x5 passive helmets; Flex Lase hand-held laser machines; Thermal Wave and ECU
• 1 year — Water coolers; gas regulators; stick electrode, welding wire and flux; welding and cutting robots and their controllers; equipment accessories such as wire feed modules, undercarriages, separately sold field-installed options and Magnum products; Pro-Torch TIG torches; plasma cutting torches; purchased non-expendable replacement parts; Magnum 250LX spool guns and push-pull guns; Viking PAPR blower units; magnetic hand lifters; RealWeld; Helix weld heads and wire feeders; Apex pendants; seam tracking sensors, ST and MS pendants, DirectArc systems, AVC-5 systems and weld oscillator systems; Magnum PRO 250LX and 250LX GT; Start-All Jump-Pack jump starters
• 90 days — All other Lincoln Electric guns and torches not listed above
• 30 days — Consumables used with weld fume control systems, including hoses, filters, belts and hose adapters; all software
• No set period — Red Line apparel is covered for manufacturing defects only and carries no warranty once used; Red Line safety glasses and OMNIShield face shields are covered for manufacturing defects

Within the warranty period, Lincoln covers both parts and labor to correct a confirmed defect. Once a covered defect is verified, Lincoln decides whether to repair or replace the item. Limits on this coverage:

• Repairs performed anywhere other than a Lincoln Authorized Service Facility are not Lincoln's responsibility
• Lincoln's total liability will not exceed what it costs to correct the defect
• Incidental and consequential damages, such as lost business or downtime, are not covered
• Implied warranties, including merchantability, last only as long as this limited warranty on the equipment involved
